During night it rained about 7 cm of powder snow which is perfect for aerodynamic testing purposes so decided to make some quick video how you can perform quick aero check on your car.
First you need to make some small hole to your windshield or even clean it totally but leave about 100mm of snow at the bottom of the windshield because that is a place where it might stay during testing.
Then start driving. First pieces of the snow will start to fly off at around 40 km/h speeds. Most of the snow fly off at around 90 km/h. If you drive up to 110 km/h speeds the only places where is snow are the problem areas.
You might be able to see also some water raindrops on your windshield which travel along the streamlines of your car if the speed is over 80 km/h.
The particles which are on top your car does not necessary have be powder snow but its the best and cheapest option. To my current knowledge.
