WARNING: In this podcast, I talk about when most people QUIT Shadow Work.
In the last episode, I come clean about the 'work' involved in Shadow Work. You can't just hope it'll go away on its own. It takes FOCUS and PRACTICE to do Shadow Work.
So if I haven't lost you yet, I hope I don't lose you in this episode. As HSPs and empaths, we absorb so much negative programming. There's no shame in it, we've all been programmed. But the question is: Do you have the courage and the strength to face those programs with honesty and the determination to transmute them?
THIS is when most people quit Shadow Work. It's the realization that our shadow self and our triggers are highly addictive... and addictions are extremely difficult to quit.
In this episode, I explain how triggers cause our bodies to react in fight or flight response, which then triggers our stress hormones, which then becomes addictive, which then turns our bodies onto autopilot, which then causes all sorts of physical ailments... not to mention a lifetime of painful knee-jerk reactions. And sometimes this can go on for decades!
Indeed, I'm keeping it real in this episode: Shadow Work takes dedicated focus and consistent practice. But the good news is that we CAN rewire our brains. I hope you'll continue watching this series on the importance of diving into Shadow Work.
