Chana dal namkeen is a popular snack in North India and is one of the easiest snacks which is hassle free. It’s crunchy, tasty and can be had as evening snack or as chaat.
CHANA DAL NAMKEEN
Ingredients
1 cup split Bengal gram (chana dal), soaked and drained
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon red chilli powder
Method
1. Mix together salt and chilli powder in a bowl. -
2. Heat sufficient oil in kadai. Deep-fry Bengal gram till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
3. Sprinkle prepared spice mixture on fried Bengal gram, mix well and let it cool.
4. Serve or store in airtight container.
