Hi guys! In this Part 3 of the Fructose Malabsorption series, I talk about the Low FODMAP diet, which is really like an ultimate digestion reset. It's not something to be done for all of your life, but it's a terrific rest for your digestion or a perfect elimination diet if you like. It's been proven to be a great help for those with IBS or any other unexplained digestion difficulties. Even people with Celiac Disease who don't get better on gluten-free diet could find their answers from a trial of Low FODMAPs for a while. If you're wondering how fructose malabsorption is related to FODMAPs, well, fructose, fructans, and sorbitol are all FODMAPs.
