This is my process for making custom, wooden picture frames in no time at all! Once you have the three jigs I use in this video, you can make multiple picture frames very quickly!
For the process shown, the tools needed are a table saw, a planer, and a router. However, the exact same picture frames can be made using only a table saw! The face taper can be done by beveling the blade of a table saw, and the rabbet of the picture frame can be done on the table saw as well. I used a planer and router for these steps though because I had those tools available and they make the job a little easier, and in some ways, safer, in my opinion.
