This Inaugural lecture is to celebrate the appointment to professorship of Loraine Cook. After being introduced she gives her speech acknowledging her mentors and supporters and introduces some features of her academic work. Professor Cook then begins her lecture on the Differences in the Classroom; Deeper than what you think or see where she explains the psychological differences in classroom interactions, the different teaching practices by using psychological construct and described the ways in which teachers' views on classroom management may change in light of their understanding in children's temperament.
