EMMY-nominated documentary showcasing the civic life and career of Nathaniel Colley, Sacramento's first practicing African-American attorney and pioneering civil rights advocate during the last half of the 20th century. Mr. Colley was also a special advisor to President John F. Kennedy and California Gov. Pat Brown during the 1960s - and was the first African-American appointed to the California State Board of Education. His passion for equality, justice and fairness brought him together with Supreme Court Justices from Earl Warren to Anthony Kennedy - as well as Presidents Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Lyndon Johnson, Bill Clinton and Joe Biden (back when Pres. Biden was Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee).
