The Bellies Babies by Jay at Play are a collection of interactive babies that each have their own personalities. Included with each baby is their own baby bottle, pacifier, baby blanket, diaper, and a hat. You also get a Poopypedia, which is a booklet that includes everything you need to know to take care of your Bellies baby. Inside each Bellies’ baby’s diaper is a surprise poop, it’s the caretaker’s job to figure how to make Bellies baby feel better according to the poop type. Also sold separately is the Bellies set that includes a whole medical kit to make the playtime last even longer by adding on a “hospital pretend play” element. Baby dolls are big this holiday season, and I have am noticing way more come out now than ever before. Babies are a wonderful way to teach children about empathy and the power of gentle caring.

Bellies Babies originated in Europe, and have been a smash hit. Their YouTube channel features the very organized nanny that showcases how to take care of your Bellies baby. For instance, each Bellies baby has a surprise poop in their diaper, and you have to consult the Poopypedia to see how to treat the poop, as sometimes the Bellies baby can be sick. Bellies are interactive, fun and promote many hours of pretend play!
