The South Florida Street Hockey League returns to the airwaves during its second season when the Channel 10 news team shows up. The dominating South Miami Hackers are snubbed despite their first-place record and can only watch as their opponents - the struggling Orange team - are interviewed shortly after the Hackers beat them 9-0. Watch the pass from Mike Gurowitz to talented enforcer Vinny Prochilo who mows over goalie Pierre Rivard as well as sound bytes from Brian Rose, Michael Kauffman and all-star forward Erik Buth, who went on the next season to score a league-record 97 goals in 33 games. It was a record that was never approached. (Circa 1988). File footage courtesy of www.memorytovideoproductions.net
