Kheema Macaroni or Minced Mutton Macaroni from Maimoona Yasmeen’s Recipes

Ingredients:
Macaroni: 200 grams
Minced mutton (kheema): 250 grams
Onion (big): 1
Cooking oil: 2 tablespoons + ½ tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon
Salt: 1 ½ teaspoon
Red chilli powder: 1 ½ teaspoon
Chopped coriander: a handful
Spices (garam masala powder): ½ teaspoon
Procedure:
1. To a cooking pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil.
2. When the oil is hot, add sliced onion.
3. Stir fry till the onions turn light brown.
4. Add ginger garlic paste. Stir fry for 15 seconds.
5. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, washed and drained minced mutton. Stir fry for one minute.
6. Add chopped coriander. Add 1 tea cup of water. Close the lid
7. Cook on medium flame till minced mutton gets tender.
8. Meanwhile to an another pan, add 1 litre of water, ½ tablespoon cooking oil.
9. When the water comes to boil, add macaroni. Cook till macaroni get tender.
10. Switch off the flame.
11. Sieve and drain the water. Immediately run cold water through macaroni to prevent stickiness.
12. When minced mutton gets tender and the water dries up, add spices or garam masala powder.
13. Stir fry till the oil separates.
14. Add macroni and add chopped coriander. Mix thoroughly.
15. Switch off the flame
Kheema Macaroni or Minced Mutton Macaroni is ready.
