Mind to muscle connection is a very important part of bodybuilding and one that can take some time to develop. Specially in hard to feel muscles like lats, so try this out to feel your lats working!!! Most beginners myself included don’t have a clue as to how to work or feel your lats working and most back workouts end up being a pretty good arm workout but very bad back workout. It took me several years to be able to feel my lats work and really get that mind to muscle connection and really get a good back or lat workout. In this video I’m demonstrating the exercise that help me feel my lats working the most. As you can see it’s underhand lat pulldowns with single grips and you pull your elbows to the pad not to your side. Pulling your elbows to the pad forces you to work your lats and let’s you feel then working as you are going through the range of motion of these reps. Try these out yourself especially if you have a hard time feeling your lats working and you won’t be disappointed!!
