UCLA Blood & Platelet Center collects approximately 30,000 volunteer whole blood and platelet donations per year. These donations yield 60% or more of the 100,000 blood products that are transfused at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica.
