SCHULTZ CHOKE 🤼
Had a few people ask about this so here's a quick explainer on the Schultz choke that featured in my video the other day with @sammihewitt8 hitting it in comp.
I had tried it for years with no success until a @scientificwrestling seminar with Wade Schalles in Doncaster quite a few years ago.
There are a few fine details in this move that would take a longer video to explain and a bit of troubleshooting along the way, but the gist of it is this is essentially a turnover that a stubborn person resists.
If they do, you can put on a really tight choke that will put people out (which makes them exceptionally easy to turn over) or force a tap for grappling.
The most high profile use of it was @matthughes9x "farmaconda" in the UFC back in the day and it was epic.
For Submission Grappling or MMA, if they roll you have other good options.
