In this video, Zack Eckert the director of sales at BOTE Boards gives us an overview of the Lono Inflatable Kayak.
The Lono uses a four-chamber drop stitch technology with PVC double layer. The Military-grade four chambers gives it extra rigidity and stability so you have nice secondary stability with it. The BOTE Lono comes feature-rich with a lot of similar features that you've seen in all of their products. It comes with a place for you to put your paddle sheath and also has tackle rack receivers so you can plug in any of their rack systems. They have stash nets for quick pockets on either side that are removable. You have under-seat tackle storage for your largest Plano boxes. The seat has been made extra rigid so in calm water you can actually stand on the seat.
Another key feature is the new rack system called the rocket rack, which is exclusive to the Lono. This allows you to store your rods behind you while traveling. The sand spear sheath can be mounted on either side. The BOTE Lono also features an integrated Kula port. So a great place to put a Kula cooler or a five-gallon bucket. You could also instantly convert this into a live bait system. The nice thing with the cockpit-style that you have here is that if you get water in, or if you want to rinse off the deck, you get blood on the deck, it is self-bailing.
The Lono also comes pre-plumbed with your Power-Pole Micro Mount but the actual Power-Pole Micro is sold separately. The Bote Lono is 12' 6" long by 35.5" wide and it comes with an adjustable paddle. The Lono weighs 55 pounds and can be easily rolled up and packed away saving you on storage space.
