Here’s how to set up and fish with lead clips + stop them from becoming dangerous.
If set up properly, lead clips are intended to allow you to dump the lead on a take but if the lead clip isn’t set up exactly right, it can make a rig dangerous to the carp and I show you how it can happen.
I avoid lead clips as much as possible as I hate loosing leads and I fish with running rigs. Here are some of my favourites:
