Streuselkuchen also known as crumble cake, is a German specialty. The main ingredients for the crumbles are sugar, butter, and flour. The recipe allegedly originated from Silesia. Many variants are prepared with fillings such as poppy seeds, custard or fruit such as apples, gooseberries, rhubarb or cherries

200g flour
80g sugar
1 pinch of salt
100g butter at room temperature
1 egg
- Filling -
2 jars of cherries
500ml of that cherry liquid (you could also use cherry juice)
10g vanilla
1 sachet of instant pudding
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp lemon zest
- Crumbles -
80g butter at room temperature
80g sugar
100g flour
1 pinch of cinnamon
