Yes, it's true that cyanocobalamin (manufactured B12) contains teeny tiny amounts of cyanide, but it’s less than the amount naturally found in flaxseeds, fresh apple juice, or apricots.
There is an argument to be made that methylcobalamin B12 is more bioavailable and superior as a supplement, but cyanocobalamin is 100% safe and what was used in nearly all the clinic trials and research. It’s also super cheap and ubiquitous.
