Summertime in Hawaii also means hurricane season and this season has become particularly active with storms lining up to have a crack at us. With Global Warming happening here and now Hawaii's rising ocean temps have become a magnet for extreme weather. After Hurricane Lane's damage two or three more are heading in our direction. So the surf you are seeing here at Sandy Beach has been generated by Hurricanes Norman and Olivia churning just over the horizon 9/7/18. Enjoy the action.
