Sometimes the conditions of the water you are fishing and the feeding habits of the trout dictate that you need to present nymphs in a different way. Using an indicator or dropper dry fly set up can make detecting strikes with your fly rod easier, but the skills learned through no indicator nymphing will help broaden your fly fishing skills, and ultimately lead to more fish caught.
