In this video I will compare two different carbon bikes to each other while riding the bikes with same power and in same circumstances on Tacx Neo trainer.
The Chinese frame is Flyxi or Flyxii or FLX or something like that FR-315 and I have been riding for last four years with no problems. The bike is rather light hitting the scale at just above 7.1 kg without pedals and ride weight was around 7.6 kg. The frame was less than 400$ when I bought it, and it might still be on the market.
The "Reference" bike is my new Canyon Aeroad SLX 8.0 DI2 that weights roughly the same. The frame it self is actually a bit lighter than the Chinese cousin and there are grams still to spare with this one.
This video confirmed my original thoughts that the Canyon is way more stiffer and the power transmission and efficiency is superior when comparing it to my old bike. After I have had some miles with the Canyon it would be huge down shift to change it back to the old bike...
Noise that can be heard when pedaling comes from my winter pedals. (basic look pedals that won't be quiet!) In the summer In the summer I use power pedals....
I will make a different video with side-by-side comparison with the frames from different angles without the comments in the future.
