It didn't take long for Tij Iginla to make his impact once he touched down in the CSSHL.
Originally drafted by the Seattle Thunderbirds 9th-overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft. Iginla took his talents to RHA Kelowna for the 2021-22 season with their U18 Prep program.
Iginla posted 26-goals and 48-points in his first season of U18 Prep competition, proving he was ready to take that next step to the WHL.
Iginla would garner a WHL Championship and a Memorial Cup berth with the Thunderbirds in his rookie campaign but was eventually traded closer to home for the 2023-24 season to the Kelowna Rockets allowing him to flourish in a top-6 role and make headlines ahead of the 2024 NHL Draft. Where he would be eventually selected with the inaugural draft pick of the Utah Hockey Club.
