Within this tree part series of video essays, titled “MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL”, the goal is to talk about the philosopher Richard Rorty, more specifically about his work in the book Philosophy and the Mirror of Nature. These videos represent a personal understanding of Rortys philosophy, anything that is not clearly said, or you think may not be correctly interpreted, write in the comments. All suggestions came in handy, whether it was about the topic we are talking about or technical things about the video itself and YouTube.
In this episode, the goal is to present Rorty's argument about why the concept of spirit and correspondence theory of truth and knowledge are problematic for philosophy.
