By Rob Quijano: ––– Earlier today, I drove to the Felix Pagan Pintor Boxing Gym in Guaynabo Puerto Rico for the Red Carpet Promotions Open Media Workout with Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano and Enrique “Kikin” Collazo. The workout was to promote the “Latin Fury” fight card on April 22nd at the Coliseo Ruben Zayas Montañez in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. Red Carpet Promotions is promoting the card with DiBella Entertainment.
Amanda arrived first with her trainer Jordan Maldonado and both greeted me with hugs. Mere weeks ago both were present here in Puerto Rico when Amanda was the first woman to be honored and officially presented her WBO 126 lb. belt in a ceremony surrounded by former champions. Now Amanda (a 4 time World Champion) is making history again here in Puerto Rico as the first female fighter to headline a fight card.
“Latin Fury” will have 10 action packed fights and the night will be a tribute to former champion Jose Carita Lopez.
