This video shows a simple and effective method for finishing raw lead he'd jigs. It uses a 3 ounce diamond jig for the example. If you have a heat gun and toaster over, you can make great finishes on these lures.
As a note of caution, this type of finishing should be done in a well ventilated area and preferably, outdoors. This was filmed indoors because of my camera set up.
