Step by step instructions on how to make a basic goat milk soap using oils from the grocery store in Ontario, Canada. Three recipes included below.
If your scale only weighs full grams remember to round oils and milk up to the nearest number so olive oil go to 155 grams bu always round lye down (so go to 65 grams with the first recipe)

Recipe #1
In this recipe we are using NaOH for our Lye
Our weight of oils will be 1 pound
Water as % of Oils is 38
Super fat of 5%

Olive oil - 34% 154.22 grams
Coconut oil - 33% 149.69 grams
Lard - 33% 149.69
Milk - 172. 36 grams
Lye NaOH - 65.98 grams

Recipe #2
In this recipe we are using NaOH for our Lye
Our weight of oils will be 1 pound
Water as % of Oils is 38
Super fat of 5%

Olive Oil - 34% 154.22 grams
Coconut oil - 33% 149.69 grams
Crisco - 33% 149.69
Milk - 172.36 grams
Lye NaOH - 65.47 grams

Recipe #3 the one I use in the demonstration
In this recipe we are using NaOH for our Lye
Our weight of oils will be 1 pound
Water as % of Oils is 38
Super fat of 5% olive oil

Olive Oil - 34% 154.22 grams
Coconut Oil - 33% 149.69
Crisco - 16% 72.57
Lard - 17% 77.11 grams
Milk - 172.36 grams
Lye NaOH - 65.74 grams
