He ran the experiment on a chimpanzee who was invisible but got visible after being injected with Sebastian's medicine.Sebastian was required to showcase his progress to the military, but instead, he resorted to lying about his work and requested additional time for conducting further research. Linda and Matthew questioned him about his dishonesty, to which he responded by saying he intended to test the efficacy of the medicine on human subjects. After three days he was given medicine to make him appear again but this time the medicine never worked for him. He was very concerned for his companions whom he held responsible for his sufferings. His colleagues developed a mask for him so that they could see him. He wanted to go outside. He returns to his house wearing the mask and stares at the girl he used to stare at. When Linda visits his home, she discovers his mask and becomes concerned about the situation because Sebastian has started to manipulate others.
