Your emotional health is key to your immune health. And this video details some of the reasons why.
It is not a surprise to me that the vast majority of the people who are in my 6 Week Rapid Recovery Group, who are there to heal from autoimmune diseases, long haul covid are other devastating illness, are also survivors of trauma.
Some find that nutrition alone won't change their health until they heal from their traumas, anxiety, and depression.
That doesn't mean the nutrition isn't important, because the higher your emotional stress the MORE you need anti-inflammatory nutrition (to combat the moods and the emotional stress), but it's important to address the inflammatory nature of trauma, depression, and anxiety as well to fully recover.
In my group, we work every day on optimizing their health through the most anti-inflammatory nutrition physically possible AND daily work on their moods, thoughts, and emotional healing.
For many people who graduate my group, they find the emotional healing even more life-changing than releasing their physical symptoms; that connecting with gratitude, releasing anxiety, and embracing happiness changes their life in a profound way.
