The Government Services Minister has accused Scott Morrison of being a “bottomless well of self-pity” and not showing a “drop of mercy” for the real victims of the Robodebt scandal.

Bill Shorten said the purpose of the former prime minister’s recent statement about the findings of the royal commission was to frame him as the “real victim”.

“The Member for Cook is a bottomless well of self-pity and not a drop of mercy for all the real victims of Robodebt," Mr Shorten said during Question Time on Tuesday.
