In this #Shorts video Steve & Aram show you their most recent project that is being used for a local restaurant here in Santa Fe! We started off with a beautiful copper color from black diamond pigments and Upstart Epoxy‘s deep pour resin. Once the initial pour had finished curing which took about two days we went ahead and sanded it off with a 320 grit sander. This gave it a beautiful smooth appearance and we were able to see what the finished product would look like after the sanding. Once finished sanding we brought the table inside and prepared it for an Upstart Epoxy tabletop “flood coat”. This is essentially where we flood the top of the table in an effort to entirely coat the table with a beautiful glossy finish. Make sure to use the spatula to evenly distribute all of the epoxy throughout the entire table this will ensure there is a cohesive look to the piece. What do you think about the copper pigment color here? We find that copper epoxy pigment is one of the most beautiful colors to work with especially in combination with teal/turquoise real/and this one was specifically requested by the local restaurant here in Santa Fe!
