The Seattle Seahawks fell to 1-2 after their loss to the Tennessee Titans. In this game, Russell Wilson threw for 373 yards and four touchdowns against Dick LeBeau’s defense. Statistically this was a great performance, but the vast majority of these yards came while the Seahawks were down by more than 10 points in the fourth quarter. This happened because the team gave up 21 unanswered points in the third quarter.
For this video breakdown, I tracked all of his plays from this game including his 49 pass attempts and scrambles. Also, I looked at themes from the offensive line. In my opinion, Rees Odhimambo and Oday Aboushi were the main culprits of the pressure that Wilson faced. At times he definitely held onto the ball for far too long and missed open receivers, but according to ProFootballFocus the entire line gave up 24 pressures during this game.
