There are always some California Yellowtail around Catalina Island. Stoked On Fishing Charters headed out from Huntington Beach California on the 35 foot Everglades, which is the fastest 6-pack charter boat in southern California. After loading up on squid and sardines to use as bait, we took a 40-minute ride and arrived at Catalina Island for some nonstop Yellowtail, Calico Bass, Bonito, and Barracuda fishing.
