Preserving the memory of the Holocaust, the Yad Vashem World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Israel, has been collecting information on victims of and survivors of the Holocaust since the 1950s. The so-called “Pages of testimony” include personal information, testimonies and sometimes photos. Over the years, over 2.8 million names have been recorded in over 20 languages. The Yad Vashem pages of testimony included in UNESCO Memory of the World register in 2013.
