Odisha Road Trip 2022
Day - 1: It was 19th December 2022. We started our Road Trip to Odisha. My family and our 2017 Baleno Delta (Petrol). We started at around 9:30 am from Behala. Taken the road through Andul to avoid the congestion on Kona Expressway due to ongoing work on Satragachi Bridge. Road condition was good till Belda. But after Belda, there were too many diversions for Road works (widening of roads) which caused huge delay and finally we reached to our first destination, Bubbles of Luxury Beach Camp, Dublagadi at around 3 pm. Not only diversions, but too many peculiar shaped speed breakers were also very disturbing. However, we forgot all those after reaching to the destination. It was the first Beach Camp in the area with Swiss Tents. There are Adventure Tents as well as Premium Cottages also to stay. But we stayed in a Swiss Tent only. The experience was awesome. Immediately on reaching we opted to skip the welcome drink and went for Lunch. Food was really good. After Lunch, we took little rest and approached to the beach which is approximate 4 to 5 minutes walk from the camp through densed jhau forest. Spent lots of time on beach and returned back to camp after sunset. The night experience of the camp was also excellent. We enjoyed the camp fire and barbecue in the evening. Had dinner little late and had a sound sleep inside the Swiss Tent.
Important Information
1) Dublagadi Sea Beach is approx 250 KMs from Kolkata
2) One has to take a left turn from Haldipada (just before Balasore)
3) There are 3 Beach camps one after the other, almost adjacent to each other
4) We stayed at the 3rd Camp, Bubbles of Luxury Beach Camp
5) 3 types of accommodation options.
Premium Cottage - 2500/- per person
Swiss Tent - 2200/- per person
Adventure Tent - 1300/- per person
6) Prices are inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and Dinner
7) Barbecue charges extra 500/- per kg
