The Supreme Court decision on the Black Lives Matter rally planned in Sydney has been adjourned until Friday.
Police initiated legal proceedings in a bid to limit events which could rapidly spread the coronavirus.
The NSW Health Minister is pleading with protesters not to go ahead with Tuesday's Black Lives Matter protest.
However, protest organiser Patrick Gibson and other supporters of the Black Lives Matter cause, want the rally to go ahead.
"When you come to a protest demonstration there is an element of risk involved in that, but for many many people, this is a very important issue, and we're going to be doing everything we can to provide the safest environment possible," Mr Gibson said.
