Hey everybody, it's Mary Cheney, Marketing Manager here at VoIP Supply, and today we're going to be unboxing Snom's brand new M500 series. I'm very honored to be unboxing these products because they're not even out to market yet, so thank you to our partners at Snom, let's unbox them. All right, so we're going to start unboxing the M55 first. Okay, we have our base here. So we'll show you that it's actually wall mountable. Here's our battery. Okay, so here's everything in the box for the M55. You have your quick installation guide, I love these things, they're packed full of great information, so make sure you look through them. You've got your handset, the back, the battery, and the wall plug. All right, so I'm going to assemble this now. And as you can see, as soon as I put that battery in, it turned on, which is kind of cool because it hasn't been on the charger. So we'll plug that in and let that charge up a little bit here, and we're going to unbox the M500 next.
Just our quick installation guide and I got to say, I quite like the fact that there are not a lot of plastic bags in here, so props to the team over at Snom. Okay, so that is what is in the box for the M500, and we can power this on as well, let me show you the back. It's super lightweight. All right, so let's power this. All right, and next, we are going to box the M58. Here is our stand, which is really cool, it's got the logo on the back here, some rubber feet so it's nicely sturdy, power supply, and cord. I'm going to say this again, I am impressed with the packaging here. I don't know if you can see this, but I'm going to show the camera how neat that is packaged in there, well done. Handy dandy quick installation guide, and the piece you're all waiting for, check that out. And you can see it actually has antibacterial material that the phone's made out of, so it keeps it nice and hygienic. Let's take that off.
So you just pinch those down, that pops off, and you can choose to keep it on or off, but it does fit right back into place on the other side of this so you can put that in if you don't want to have the hole there. So I just thought that was kind of neat that they came out with a couple different ways that you can have your phone, so then that gives you more of a higher profile for your desk phone. So now I'm going to plug in the handset, I'm not going to put the plate back on for right now, but you can if you need to.
Phones are not limited to only two calls like traditional DECT devices. Other key features you can barge in, shared directory with up to 500 entries, a private directory with up to 200 entries, and you can do three-way conferencing. Okay, so now let's talk about some key features of the M500 Pro DECT Multicell Base Station. You can have up to two M500 Pro Base Stations, up to 16 handsets or desk sets, up to eight concurrent calls per base, programmable keys for handset and desk phones, and zero-touch provisioning. The Base Station is also POE and comes with a three-year manufacturer warranty.
All right, so now let's take a look at the devices. All right, so now I'm just going to run through a couple of the features of the phone here. So on the side is where you would plug in your headset.
All right, so now let's take a look at the M58, your function keys, your soft keys here, your navigation button, and again, you've got the nice little back and forth here. You have your exit button, your okay key, your settings.
