In this video, we discuss how to use the principles of ABA to teach students to have more choice and develop independence by using what we call differential reinforcement to shape behavior, allowing for client assent and choice in ABA sessions. This means offering a choice of reinforcers, so that students can decide if they want to engage in a particular task or not.
