Nine-time world bodyboarding champion, Mike Stewart, has ridden the epic wave of Shipstern Bluff, in Tasmania, Australia, for the first time in his life.
The Hawaiian waterman put on a helmet and dropped into the triple overhead right-hand waves on offer.
At the age of 56, Stewart proves he is never too old for a new adventure in waves of consequence.
The historic moment was captured on film by Australian singer-songwriter, James Bennett. He's been a fan of the bodyboarder's career ever since.
