I hope you are all staying safe and sane, and that we can look back at this time of pandemic crisis soon. For now, I hope this video provides a little distraction and inspiration. Enjoy nature and the creative process. In this video I walk along the Orting Foothills Trail in WA state back in December, and create an oil painting of an old barn. This is one of my first attempts using the Richard Schmid alla prima approach to oil painting, which is fun and interesting. Watch this en plein air painting demo with some advice and tutorial.
