Opioid withdrawal is a syndrome that happens when a person that is opioid-dependent abruptly discontinues the opioids without tapering (cold-turkey withdrawal).

Matt Finch was addicted to opioids for many years. His first opioid withdrawal he didn't even know what was happening. He thought he was just having a massive panic attack.
