Today's video I go over my January Passive Income report - focused on dividend income - which is my primary vehicle to reach financial freedom.

Our income was up over 5.50% from last year's January - HUGE progress, considering there was only ONE NEW stock added to the portfolio that paid a dividend in January.

Dividend investing is a very passive investing path to take. My dividend income grew without me having to do much work, at all. How did my passive income stream go from last year?

Two main items grew the dividend income from last year, which is the heart of dividend investing:
- Dividend Growth: This is when a dividend stock increases the dividend payment per share to the shareholders. Many stocks I own have done this every year, for decades.
- Dividend Reinvestment: This is when the dividend stock you own pays you a dividend and that dividend is reinvested back into the stock you own, to grab more shares, which increases your next dividend payment. Rinse and repeat.

Now, I've been investing for almost 15 years. This type of investing activity and results does NOT happen over night. In doesn't happen over a year, nor does it happen over five years.

Time can be your greatest asset or your worst liability. Remember that.

Therefore, I wanted to show you the proof if you keep investing, stay consistent and keep going. I turn off the stock market noise and continue to march on, doing my thing, to reach financial freedom.
