The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have split from the royal foundation they shared with Prince William and Kate to register their own foundation — "Sussex Royal".
Prince Harry and Meghan set up the foundation earlier this year after controversially splitting from the Royal Foundation they shared with Prince William and Kate.
The trademark application will cover a range of goods and services including books, clothing and educational charitable campaigns.
