WWF In Your House 14 "Revenge of the Taker" took place on April 20th 1997. Originally the event would include a Sycho Sid vs Bret Hart match but when Sid pulled out, Stone Cold Steve Austin was added as a replacement. In Your House 14 then features the third Bret Hart vs Steve Austin WWF pay per view match only this time, Bret Hart works as a full-blown heel.

The Undertaker defends his WWF Championship on this PPV against Mankind, one of the Phenom's most formidable opponents. The Tag Team Championship Belts are also on the line when The Legion of Doom battle Owen Hart & Davey Boy Smith, and Rocky Maivia defends the Intercontinental Championship against Savio Vega. The Honky Tonk Man's protege also gets revealed at this show, and the big reveal is met with silence.
