Keep in mind that I do not work for Bose, and these are just my personal opinions.
I think I have put together an incredible Bluetooth Micro System! It's a great first system for anyone; able to fit in the smallest cars, light weight, powerful full range sound that can be taken almost anywhere. I play Roland electronic drums through this system so I was looking for a subwoofer that could handle the deep bass of a kick drum. This system effectively fills my home (a large space with a cathedral ceiling) with music. Don't mention this to my "audiophile" friends out there but this system will outperform many pricey HI-fi systems with the traditional receiver, two speakers, subwoofer, all tied together with a spaghetti mess of cables. This system would probably have a high wife acceptance factor. Would make a great Karaoke system or a system for backyard pool parties 50-75 people, maybe even 100. Can always add a second Sub2! This system is also great for playing outdoors; plug in a guitar and microphone and create your own outdoors mini Woodstock. I have other suggestions for less expensive portable systems, or I can share the ultimate portable system I have created. Feel free to ask questions about hookup!
Cable connection:
All you need is one cable. From the line out of the S1Pro into a Channel input of sub. Make sure the cable is TRS 1/4" to TRS 1/4" or 1/4" TRS to XLR male. I like the XLR cable better because it has a more secure connection. If you plan on putting the sub between the two speakers, get a 10-15 foot cable.
