The community of Echuca in northern Victoria is continuing to prepare for further flooding, with water levels expected to peak on Friday.
Cafe 3564 Manager Yu Sun spoke to Sky News Australia about keeping her business open during this time, as a refuge for locals.
“As long as I can make it, I’ll definitely keep my door open for everyone who still needs a coffee and food,” she said.
“Our cafe is located in one of the highest places in Echuca to secure our safety.”
