Look closely that is a moving ergo! The last few years we have been teaching that the full body must be engaged to get max power out of your sprint. This would be directly powering each stroke with your upper body engaged directly into the bar as each side comes forward. Therefore there must be some movement in the bike. For that reason too much ergo time will de-train your engagement, until now! Plus now I can say with no doubt that I am using my weights to improve power on the bike! Interesting in coaching?
