Urban Suburban and Rural Communities can be found all across the world. In this video, designed for First and Second grade Social Studies, we show that Urban communities can be found in cities, suburban communities can be found near cities and rural communities are found in the country. In this Second and First Grade lesson, students will be able to identify the differences and identify what type of community they live in.
In the video for kids, we identify the positives and negatives of each community, and take a quiz on identifying urban, suburban and rural communities. It is perfectly set up to be made into a Playposit or EdPuzzle, or it can be used as is.
