Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are increasingly using mobile devices to interact with the world around them, yet they are not proportionately increasing their engagement with the scriptures. We believe that deep and consistent scripture study is a key to a fulfilling and faith-filled life. ScripturePlus is designed to increase engagement with the scriptures among Latter-day Saints by creating an immersive scripture-study experience.
Among the features currently included in ScripturePlus are:
New formatting and headings, to improve reading flow and comprehension
Red-lettering highlighting the words and names of members of the Godhead, making it easy for you to recognize the voice of God in scripture
Speaker and author identification, so that you never have to wonder who's talking in any given verse
Quotations from General Authorities and scholars that provide context and insight into specific passages of scripture
KnoWhys, Book of Mormon Central’s premier publication, which provide analysis of specific passages or doctrinal topics
Artwork, photographs, and charts to help you visualize the scriptures
Videos that explain and illumine passages and themes found in scripture
