In these series of videos I will show you how to replace the master cylinder and slave cylinder for a clutch. The first video will show the steps on how to remove the master cylinder, properly bench bleed it, and then reassemble it to the firewall. It's recommended that whenever you change the master cylinder for a clutch, the slave cylinder should be replaced as well. Part 2 will consist of replacing the slave cylinder, and part 3 will consist of bleeding air out of the system using the vacuum bleeder technique.
The specific vehicle in this video is a 2003 Honda Civic EX, so the procedures for 2001-2005 (7th generation) will be exactly the same. It will also be relatively the same procedure for any vehicle with a hydraulic clutch system. Nissan owners will benefit from this video greatly as well, since the clutch line is routed similar to this vehicle.
