I owned this laptop for almost 4 years now and it feels like it is getting slow. Then I read about repasting a CPU so I had to try. Is it going to make my MacBook goos as new? Let's see.

This video is about the MacBook Pro 15" from 2016/2017 Model Number: A1707
It features the maxed out CPU, GPU, and RAM.

Is it worth it: you'll have to decide. It certainly got less warm and has a better benchmark result. But it also is a significant time investment to do the whole process.

Update (after exporting this): while exporting my MacBook was usually pretty much unusable. Now, after applying the new thermal paste it was smooth sailing and I was able to keep using my laptop! So I would count that as a significant win!
