RedBridge Group Director Kos Samaras says there was a “danger” for the Albanese government over stage three tax cuts as it could have been seen as favouring large incomes at the expense of others.
Mr Samaras labelled the ALP’s move to break the election promise as “smart politics” and a “recalibration”.
The RedBridge Group Director also explained how many inner-suburban seats vote on issues other than their hip pockets even during financially challenging periods.
“They are driven significantly by other issues such as climate change, gender equality and even the Voice,” Mr Samaras told Sky News Australia.
“They are animated by other issues.”
